TWA A340-300 P3D
« on: May 04, 2020, 12:18:42 PM »
Was doing some needed work on the some P3D files and I got the idea to try something. I took the A330-300 paint from the TWVA Fleet New Arrivals page and see if I could slap it on to the A340-300 model that I got on Rikoooo.com. And to my amazement it worked! So I have not tried to change anything else on the texture like the model and N number or make the winglets red but I think it looks pretty good for what little true effort I put in.

Let me know what you guys think and keep the blue up!

Brian

Yes Steve Mcbee's A330-300. I would love to see this scheme on the A340-600 as well and if I had any skills I would like to see this paint on all the WB and NB Airbus aircraft.

Thanks for the feedback! This was one of those "I wonder if this would work?" moments for me.

Totally agree that it looks great! But I've said it before that I just can't get over the gold cowlings. But unfortunately I don't fly yet so I will will just smile and nod.  ;)

Nice work!

Norm,

The download package in the Fleet Section has a multi-engine option. The author of the future livery liked the gold cowls but I was hoping for a blue cowl. So we uploaded the original design for the author but included a blue option or a white option as well for the cowls.

Greetings Charlie! Been a while!

I'm hoping that my comments didn't have the feel of a nasty critciism. If it did, I more than apologize. I do stand behind the fact that it's great work! But I also agree with you. (wink, wink)  ;D
Great call on giving people the option of what they want, and also kudos on sticking with the authors suggestion.

Take care.

Norm,

Not at all my friend. I was just pointing out the options that are available in case some pilots were unaware. Aside from the last livery, I think this is my favorite "livery" for a TWA airplane.
