With the release of the new AAU 2 for MSFS I thought I would give the 787 a try again. This time on approach through some clouds in KSAN.

It flies really well and the team has done a good job of making the major systems functioning. Really needs Simbrief import though. Don't mind the wonky stripes on the side of the plane. There is a poor quality livery on flightsim.to and I tried to use GIMP to clean up the texture files. It's not good but it's better than nothing!

Oh, you're going to have so much fun! The Maddog has its flaws but it really grows on you.

The textures aren't the highest resolution since they ported it over from P3D I think but the systems and flight model are really good and it's just so much different from the Boeings and Airbus that it makes it fun. It's a little pricey for the texture quality. I fly it as much as I fly the PMDG 737 with similar performance on an average spec computer.

Yes - there are three liveries on Flightsim.To - old colors, new colors, and wings of pride. It's a really good aircraft to fly but the textures aren't high res.

Leonardo Maddog in TWA colors taxiing out. Pretty fun aircraft to fly in spite of the sub par VC textures.
