THE LOUNGE / Re: KDFW Parking ... (real life question)
« on: April 01, 2019, 09:04:35 PM »
Try "the Parking Spot DFW" they have a few locations and from $10 to $15 per day parking uncovered or covered.

They did have AA employee discounts but that was several years ago at this point.

Or if you have AAA they may knock of something off.

Got the Project Airbus A318, A319, A320 and A321 planes working in P3d v4. Only have the A318 in TWA colors so far and it looks pretty good.

Let me know what you guys think of the pics.

PS. If anyone would like to expand the paint jobs to the larger narrow bodies please do so.  :D

Those look very nice! If I can't figure out how to get my QW757 working in P3Dv4 I will check these out for sure.

Have to completely agree with you Marcel! The Connie is by far the most beautiful civil passenger aircraft ever produced hands down!

As a side note I was devastated to hear that Lufthansa pulled the plug on there L1649 flyable restoration. Sad. :'(

That is super nice looking plane Pam! Is that Prepar3d or X-plane? I should make the jump out of FSX-SE but the inner cheapskate in me is hanging on.

Hello and Welcome to TWVA Francisco!

I only maintain the 737's but as far as cockpit automation and feel goes the 737NG aircraft will be a step back in time for you. My small amount of interaction of the MAX8 is that is better and more up to date but still catching up to the 777 in my opinion.

I did watch a youtube video of a British Airways A320 check pilot who never flew anything else fly a BA 737NG simulator and said it felt like flying a steam locomotive compared to the Airbus. His opinion.

They all get the job done and would be a new experience for you for sure.

Cheers!

Celebrated with a round trip to Plymouth MA. KPYM!

Use something small due to short runway. Approx 4500'

I used the Virtualcol Jetstream Super 31. On sale for $7.14 @Flightsim.com

Maybe I will try my hand at repaints in TWE colors if the front office adds the type to the fleet. Hint Hint!!!
