Norm,

The download package in the Fleet Section has a multi-engine option. The author of the future livery liked the gold cowls but I was hoping for a blue cowl. So we uploaded the original design for the author but included a blue option or a white option as well for the cowls.

I'm hoping that my comments didn't have the feel of a nasty critciism. If it did, I more than apologize. I do stand behind the fact that it's great work! But I also agree with you. (wink, wink) 
Great call on giving people the option of what they want, and also kudos on sticking with the authors suggestion.

Totally agree that it looks great! But I've said it before that I just can't get over the gold cowlings. But unfortunately I don't fly yet so I will will just smile and nod.

Definitely a good looking bird - this from a Boeing guy. Hafta admit tho, the gold engine cowlings are different.

If you are a forum member and have tried to log in using the login in the upper right hand corner, you probably are aware that it just gives you an error message. Yeah, we are aware of it too. Sorry, but I don't have a fix for it yet. However, your good buddy Marty has found a work-around:

"Try clicking on the word 'login' in the phrase "Please login or register" in the upper right corner.

This carries you to the forum login page.  Re-enter your password there and click the box 'Always stay logged in:'"

Then click "Login", and you'll be good to go.

Sorry for the hassle, but things are always changing with the code that runs this complex forum, and this old feeble mind just can't keep up anymore.

Anything new to report guys?

I just have not had the time to fly like I wish I could. Been out of the "cockpit" so long that I may need another flight check just to qualify!  That someday will come though. As Charlie stated, I'm just a guy in STL that still has a lot of "red and white" running in my blood and I am honored to have my name associated with this site.

I miss more than that my friend. Those three holers, the other three holer, those beautiful whales, but even more, the red and whites and, IMHO, the most striking livery to ever take the sky.

Welcome Francisco!

My name is Norm. Although I'm not a TWVA pilot (yet), TWA is a big part of me. Worked for STL (not TWA) for 18 years, so I got to see the good and the bad. This is a fantastic site and even though I haven't taken full advantage of all the offerings, I've been treated as though I've been a lifetime member here. Well, except for Charlie! (sorry man, couldn't resist!)

In reality, Charlie let me make my contribution here and was more than proud to do so.
