Or at least the TWVA version ...  ;D
Substituted a 787-8 for a 763 route from KJFK to KSFO.
Love the look on these engines:

This livery looks right at home:

After a couple of attempts, a little bit of frustration, and a combination of 4-letter colorful metaphors .... got the Quality Wings 757-200 into the new P3D v3.3 install.  Took her out on a TWAFREE flight from Manila (RPLL) to Tokyo (RJTT).  It made all the effort worthwhile.  :D

Passing Mt Fuji on the way into RJTT:

Pratt & Whitney business end, love the detail QW puts into their work:

There be cranes in Tokyo:

Share your shots and stories here in the gallery .... I am sure I'm not the only one that is interested in seeing and hearing them !!!

NICE scenery graphics -

FS9, FSX or Steam?

Also, is it part of a scenery add on or default?

PrePar3d v3.3 .... the scenery uses two payware add-ons.  The first is ORBX Global & Vector.  This replaces most of the default scenery images used to create terrains.  The second is the JetStream Designs KLIT airport and Little Rock, AR area.  In real life, 90% of my air travel starts and ends at KLIT.

Early evening arrival to 22R KLIT in an MD83 from KSTL.  The JetStream Designs KLIT I find highly accurate, (as a native).

3-quarters mile, 1191 has the ball.

100 feet ... throttle coming back.

Caught a full moon coming out of KSFO the other night.  Taxing to the active and looking out to the left.   :)

Found myself with a layover in virtual Hawaii, so decided to make a little extra cash with some island hopping charters.  Rustled up the perfect bird:

THE LOUNGE / TDS 727-100 released
« on: March 28, 2016, 10:53:20 PM »
There is a package over at flightsim.com that includes the model and a TWA livery.  As with most TDS birds, they really need to have a panel and sound alias'd to them.  This one threw an extra curve in that there is a modification to the aircraft.cfg file needed to make the artificial horizon work:

You need to make the following change in the aircraft.cfg to fix this:

[attitude_indicators]
attitude_indicator.0 = 1

Change it to:

[attitude_indicators]
attitude_indicator.0 = 2

Have only done but a couple of touch-n-go's so far, but she looks promising.  :)

You and your family will be in my and my family's prayers.  Early detection is the key and sounds like they have caught it.  The human body is amazing in what it can do, especially in its' ability to heal.  Combine that with modern medicine and it makes a pretty good one-two punch.

Spectacular !  So easy to see how the "Queen of the Skies" tag fits so well. :D

Kudos for tacklin' the FMC .... those things can be intimidating and scary. :o  I swear I had one speak with the voice of HAL from  2001: A Space Odyssey and proclaim, "I can't do that, Dave."

Mucho garcious~, Senior~ Perry Fincher !  Hitting some of the destinations of old and knocking the rust off the radial-prop technique.

Up from Spain ... heading Algiers.

Crossing the Med ...

Nice view of the Italian wine country:

Early evening flight to Milan ... that extra portal window in the front is not an abnormality.  Have my navigator taking star readings to make sure we are on course.    ;)
