Richard....you can go to My airplane.com type in the airport code you are flying to....it will list all the airport info on Jeppson charts.....landing approach plates...SIDS and STARS....etc...typically once on final your decent rate is from 900-1200fpm....

Charley the DC10 was always one of my favorites....when DOUGLAS introduced the DC10-30 with the extra landing gear under the belly that was a major selling point for me!! It looked so cool landing, you knew what it was just by the gear....
This airplane here is a great plane....has great features only to come up short with the big cargo door non-operating...MAJOR bummer!!

As we have talked some time ago with cargo planes and routes the DC10 was a happy middle from the 707 and the L-1011.....

I my have requested it, but Darrin's talented brush gets all the credit....my only issue here is why isn't uploaded to the site.....
Its a great plane...flies like a charm, but not used to the analog flight display....landing was a bear till I figured something was still on....HJT offers a beautiful airplane BUT this may be a cargo plane and with all the animation in FSX the non working cargo doors are a real bummer!!

When Charlie and I started with the cargo flights a few years ago the DC1o was a have to! So here it is in all its glory, really sorry Darrin I didn't get to you earlier....old excuse but all work and no play makes for a dull day!! Another fantastic paint!

All of us here have a passion for airplanes....we take pictures, drive out of our way to "see" something and in some cases even fly them......On Friday April 10th a movie is going to be released! National Geographic's "Living the age of Airplanes" with Harrison Ford hosting. Imagine sitting in an IMAX theater with state of the art sound and a picture so real you'd almost think you were there.....

Charlie if you have a lady that lets you be you, and her be her, then you've got yourself a good lady. I have the best person a guy could have, has never really said no to anything I asked to do or have done......with in reason of course. But she is my best freind and for 33 years never left my side!

Question......what happenes when you squeeze a wet softball to hard? Thats right it will slip out! Think about it.....!!

Hmmm if something doesn't fit then there must be too much of something else.........This livery is maybe one of the hardest, but yet so simple. I have enclosed my iFDG MD-11 in both cargo schemes. Like the sister pax colors the globe doesn't go past any of the forward doors. The TWA/ CARGO are big enough to fill the space on the tail but not to that is overlapes the edges or gets to close to the red stripe.......
I left them at full textures so you can see first hand........
