I don't know what security software you are using. I use Norton and it sometimes remove some panel gauges, but not with the Captain Sim 727. What was the virus that was found.

Thanks Howard.  I have most of their airplanes, but with this new computer using Windows 10 they come up with a virus.  I use Web-root the software I had installed by Geek   Squad.  The virus is with the sound gauge or so it says.  I ran a virus check before each installation and it came up negative (no virus).  However when I installed the airplanes it showed a virus. Thanks for getting back to me.  Have a nice evening.

Wayne, sorry to hear this is happening sir. I have not heard of this before but not to say it doesnt happen. I know there is a forum for tech questions on Avsim. That would be a good start and can look around to see if anything similar has happened to others and what they did or didnt do.

I did the same, but using Windows 10 and FSX Steam - no problems; 707,727, 737-200, 747, 757, 767, 777

Steam installation is significantly different place than straight FSX though.

Thanks Mike.  I'll look at purchasing the Steam Edition.
