Not that I've gone missing or anything...
NWA and TWA were near a codeshare agreement back when the dinosaurs roamed Michael Jackson's Wonderland. It wouldn't be unheard of for TWA to do a slight operation out of Narita. TWA, like NWA, always valued its international network, and like Amsterdam, Narita could have been a base of operations for TWA international flights. Over GUM or ANC, I'd always go with NRT, cool airport and a great market to hit now that DAL owns all the flights there from LAX (And AAL from Dallas, ORD, and now JFK [to Haneda], and UAL from ORD and SFO). It is saturated but for a transition flight, hey, why not.

Actually TW was awarded STL-NRT right but never launched it due to I assume lack of equipment. It is 5530NM and the 763ER could have made in, but barely. I think the A332 order would have done this run, but that was way back when. STL-NRT-SGN,   signs12

Hey guys,

United and Thai fly LAX-BKK nonstop using 744 and 773 equipment nonstop, and that distance is 80nm further than LAX-SGN.  I would think LAX as the Pacific hub would make more sense from a feeder/Marketing standpoint.  People don't like the perception of backtracking to get to their destination.  It'd make more sense to use the feeders into the LAX hub to fill this flight.  I would like to see some LR's in the system though.

May I request 1209 as the flight # for the LAX-SGN run and 1220 as the return?
