Title: Ozark DC9-32 in XPlane 11
Post by: Marty Barnes / TWVA-KLAX on February 08, 2018, 02:45:39 PM
After lots of digging, found an Ozark repaint for a freeware DC9-32 in XP11.  Took her out for a early evening run from KSTL-KDFW.

"Push back at KSTL, ready to taxi:

"Lining up on 36L at KDFW, (and yes I was too high .... altitude wise):"

Anticipate doing quite a few flights with this bird, and am contemplating pulling the trigger on a FlyJSim 727 payware aircraft.  It claims to be what XP11 calls a 'Study' aircraft as every system is incorporated into the model.  The contemplation revolves around whether that realism can be scaled.  I don't want to spend 30 minutes starting engines looking for 50 switches located on different panels.

BTW, this little bird showed her love by greasing the skids at KDFW.  Somebody better come over and knock me off the Ozark landing leader-board.   ;) :D
