Ozark Air Lines was a pioneering regional airline that came to be in 1950 when it started DC-3 service between Saint Louis Downtown Airport and Chicago with stops in Illinois. Well known for its "Go Getter Bird" and "Three Swallows" trademarks, Ozark grew to a major national carrier with a strong hub in Saint Louis where it had its roots.
